These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the services provided by Slope Mowing NZ (“we”, “us”, “our”) and your use of this website. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

We provide slope mowing, mulching, land clearing, vegetation control, and related property maintenance services across Auckland and the North Island. The scope of work for any job is set out in the quote we provide to you.

2. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are based on the information and site conditions available at the time of assessment. If the actual site conditions, access, terrain, or vegetation differ materially from what was assessed, we may need to revise the quote before or during the work. We will discuss any changes with you before proceeding where practicable.

Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for 30 days. All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

3. Bookings, scheduling and cancellations

Bookings are confirmed once a date is agreed in writing (including by email or text message).
Work is scheduled subject to weather, ground conditions, and operational factors.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee to cover costs already incurred.

4. Site access and your responsibilities

You must ensure we have safe and clear access to the work area on the agreed date.
You are responsible for identifying and marking the location of any underground or concealed services, structures, irrigation, cabling, or other items that could be damaged, and for informing us of any hazards.
Please keep people, pets, and vehicles clear of the work area while machinery is operating.

5. Underground and concealed items

While we take reasonable care, we cannot be held responsible for damage to underground or concealed services or items that were not identified and pointed out to us before work began.

6. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date, using the payment methods stated on your invoice. Overdue accounts may incur reasonable recovery costs.

7. Weather and delays

Steep-terrain work is weather-dependent. We may reschedule work where conditions make it unsafe or where results would be compromised. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, access issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Liability

We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any job is limited to the amount paid for that job. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable New Zealand law where they apply.

9. Photography and marketing

We may take before-and-after photographs of completed work for our records and marketing. If you would prefer we did not use images of your property, please let us know in writing and we will respect your request.

10. Website and intellectual property

The content on this website, including text, images, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Slope Mowing NZ and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

11. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
